The second annual 5k Trail Run and Family Fun Run at Camp Highroad, hosted by Middleburg Montessori School, is October 6th, 2019 at 9am.
Run the beautiful 5k wooded trail course at Camp Highroad in rural Middleburg, or a shorter one mile course in our Family Fun Run.
The course and event are dog-friendly and we will have face painting, games, and crafts for children, so bring the whole family and take 15% off! All checkouts with 4+ registrations will be discounted.
There’s fun for adults too: delicious coffee, a food truck serving complimentary waffle breakfast to all registered runners, and vouchers for free tastings at local Slater Run Vineyard to enjoy after the race.
Register by September 19th for a guaranteed complimentary t-shirt. All registrations after that date will receive shirts on a first-come, first-served basis.
Offering financial support to a large portion of the school community, MMS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to nurture independence and a love of learning within a diverse and inclusive school community. With 39 years as an integral part of the educational landscape of the Middleburg area, supporting the 5k Fun Run ensures the continued longevity and quality of MMS for future generations of Middleburg area children.
Proceeds will fund the creation of a community fitness trail on their campus with stations specially designed for both adults and children. The Montessori Method supports and strengthens a child’s whole self and with the addition of a fitness trail students will have a suitable place to strengthen their bodies. We thank you for supporting our students helping them to reach their full potential both academically and physically.
